The Bike is a Suzuki GN125R purchased from the Santiago classifieds, she is as basic as a motorcycle can come and as reliable as any 1000cc BMW. She tops out at around 60mph making her not the fastest off the blocks but she’s small and light, great for sliding through hostel doorways and lifting onto the backs of pick up trucks. I made some modifications to her in Northern Chile, two panniers at the rear for baggage and spare fuel that would take a few hits along the way but always stay strong.

She is the little donkey in a world of stallions, she takes on anything any purpose built tour bike does and comes out the other end smiling, every time. She is my bike and she runs like a dream.
